Live Shows: Billy Idol | Albuquerque, NM

Albuquerque, NM - First Financial Credit Union Amphitheater - September 27, 2026

The atmosphere was honestly Unreal. There was something really special about seeing an idol back on tour again, especially with the tour being called It’s a Nice Day to… Tour Again! From the second the show started, it felt like everyone was stepping back into the ’80s. The energy in the room was incredible, and you could feel how excited everyone was to have him back on the road.

One of the moments that stood out the most was when Billy Idol played “Licensed to Thrill” in full. He mentioned that he hadn’t performed the entire song in a very long time and wanted to play it for everyone that night. It made the moment feel much more personal, like we were getting something special that he genuinely wanted to share with the crowd.

The attention to detail throughout the show was also so fun to watch. The guitarist, Steve Stevens, changed his guitar for almost every song, going through five or more different guitars throughout the night. It was such a small detail, but it really showed how much thought and preparation went into the performance.

Everything about the show felt intentional.

From the outfits and music to the energy, the atmosphere, and all the little details on stage. You could tell they put their best into every show they do. The guitar changes, bringing back a song he hadn’t played in years, and the overall energy made it feel like more than just another concert. It felt like they genuinely wanted everyone there to have a great night and experience something memorable.
