The Band CAMINO brought their NeverAlways world tour to Louisville, Kentucky on November 18th. The group, composed of Garrison Burgess, Spencer Stewart, and Jeffery Jordan, started the band in 2015 in Memphis. Joining them on the NeverAlways tour this year is traveling musician Sean Mchugh. This year marks the ten-year anniversary of the band being formed, with their new album NeverAlways and a new single 12:34 being released. The Band CAMINO’s discography is an energy-driven mix of rock, pop, and emotional ballads. The music tells stories of love, heartbreak, struggle, and everyday life. The community the band has built is extremely tight-knit and supportive of each other, reflected in the high energy in the crowd at the shows.

Ethan Tasch, known for their hits such as Room, Shell, and GPS, opened the night. Ethan Tasch’s band is composed of musicians Ethan Standard on drums, Wyatt Moran on guitar, and Mikey LaSusa on bass. The group performed a mix of Ethan’s old and new music, hyping up the crowd for The Band CAMINO.

The show in Louisville started off with the band playing their hit Daphne Blue, a high energy song that got the crowd moving right away. Confetti cannons went off with the first note of the song, leaving fans dancing and singing excitedly while looking around in awe. Other songs performed at this show included Stupid Questions, Never a Good Time, Roses, and Limbo. From start to finish, the band delivered high energy, insane vocals, and a song lineup which left both new and old fans pleased.

One special moment in the show happened during Hates Me Yet (222), a song off of their new album NeverAlways. This song, along with Berenstein and a cover of Justin Bieber’s single Daises, was performed acoustically. Fans had coordinated holding multi-colored papers to their phones’ flashlights, flooding the venue with colored light. It was an incredibly emotional moment, leaving some fans in tears.

The Louisville show was an energy-driven, fun, and emotional night for the fans. The NeverAlways tour is a must-see experience for all.
