Live Shows: Beartooth | Glendale, AZ

Glendale, AZ - Desert Diamond Arena - March 24, 026

On March 24, Beartooth was the opening act for Bad Omens, “do you feel love” North American tour—giving the show it’s pre-rock surge the audience needed!

There were so many people, packed out arena, edgy—rock inspired outfits, and the love for good loud head banging music! It’s a Tuesday night, March 24, Beartooth opening up for ANOTHER top tier rock band, kicking off the show with electricity, energy, and an experience. The fans showed up head to toe in merch, all lines stretching across the hallway from drinks to the seats! You could feel the anticipation from every corner!

I love experiencing new environments and this being my first time at a rock concert, I was not disappointed. It was new, it was fun, and it was overall something I would definitely do again. I felt comfortable, everyone in there had the same energy and it felt like 13,000 family members hanging out and listening to some super cool music.

There were moments during the show where fans were creating a mosh pit and also crowd surfing, personally, that’s super iconic! Beartooth didn’t miss an opportunity to hype that up and immerse themselves in that experience that they created. They had some serious crowd control, they had the crowd singing, dancing, head banging the whole nine! Me being locked into the show myself I didn’t miss an opportunity to wave my hands or shout when they wanted us to.

There were moments of nostalgia with older songs, memories, and die hard day one fans. Even though I had been learning something new with every set— the crowd, the atmosphere, and the experience did not fail to make me feel like I’ve already been here before and for a long time! They performed old songs, new songs, and the entire audience felt compelled to lock in and enjoy the vibes.

Like any rock fan or Stan, I’m a stickler for instruments and their contributions to the set. The guitars, the drums, all these things making this show into what it is—the vocals, the lights, everything felt so well put together, and I can feel the passion and hard work, effort, and fun put into the show. Beartooth dressed the part, had the energy, and opened up amazingly for the next set!

Beartooth performing their new song “free”, it gave the visual of honesty, self acceptance, and finally breaking free—being who you want, who you are, and being comfortable in your own skin. Because becoming the best version of yourself, is you staying true to who you’ve always been.

By the end of the opening it was bittersweet, but it was a reminder of the journey that was going to be embarked on and elevated. This is bigger than an opening, or any “prime”— this is going to be the BEGINNING of Beartooth as it was always once known as, to what it now is known to BE!
